According to the UBOS {Uganda Bureau Of Statistics} survey in 2022, Approximately 14 – 19 million people in Uganda alone lack access to clean and safe water.
According to The Borgen Project, “Around 59% of South Sudanese lack access to clean water and only 11% have access to basic sanitation. The lack of a reliable water resource management system has forced most South Sudanese to rely on unsanitary practices.”
It’s hard to believe that more often than not, the clean water a developing community desperately needs is right underneath them.
And it’s amazing how a relatively small investment to get to it can make such a dramatic difference in so many lives. That’s why we fund these well projects.
